CLARITY ✦ TRUST ✦ FREEDOM
If pulling, chaotic behavior, or reactivity has turned everyday life with your dog into something you constantly have to manage, I can help. Skill Tree K9 works with motivated dog owners who want more than a few commands — we work toward a dog you can communicate with, trust, and actually enjoy living with.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS
Maybe walks have become something you have to mentally prepare for.
Maybe you’re constantly watching for another dog coming down the street because you don’t know how yours is going to react.
Maybe your dog is chaotic around the house, pulls you everywhere, or seems to completely forget you exist once something exciting happens.
And maybe you’ve gotten so used to managing it that you’ve started accepting the stress as part of owning your dog.
It doesn’t have to stay that way.
You don’t need another random training tip or a list of commands to practice. You need to understand why these problems are happening, what to do about them, and how to communicate clearly enough that your dog can start making better choices.
That’s what we’ll work on together.
The results I’m most proud of aren’t flashy tricks. They’re owners telling me that walks finally feel calmer. That they aren’t nearly as stressed when another dog appears. That they understand what to do when something goes wrong. And, most importantly, that they finally trust their dog to make better decisions.
My job isn’t to take your dog away, work some magic, and hand them back. I coach you.
I’ll help you understand what’s happening, build a training plan around your dog and your life, demonstrate what to do, and coach you through it until the concepts and mechanics start making sense — because you’re the one building the relationship that needs to last after our eight sessions are over.
THE CALM COMPANION PROGRAM
Eight private sessions, built around your dog and your real life — no cookie-cutter curriculum. We train where the behavior actually happens: your home, your street, the places you already go.
Imagine going for a walk without wondering what disaster is waiting around the corner. Your dog can pass distractions without everything turning into a battle. You understand how to get their attention when you need it. There’s more calm inside the house. And when something does go wrong, you don’t panic — you know what to do.
That’s the change we’re working toward. Not perfection. Not a dog who behaves only when the trainer is holding the leash.
A clearer relationship. A more confident owner. And a dog that’s learned how to make better choices.
The more you can trust those choices, the more freedom you can give your dog.

COMMON QUESTIONS
There’s no cookie-cutter curriculum. Every program is tailored to your dog, your goals, and your real life — we work on the skills your particular dog and household actually need, and you’ll always understand why we’re doing what we’re doing.
The Calm Companion Program is eight private training sessions, generally scheduled no more than once per week. Whenever possible, we train where the behavior actually matters — your home, neighborhood, walking route, or a place you regularly visit.

No. You don’t need any experience — you just need to be willing to participate. This is hands-on private coaching: I’ll teach you what to do, explain why, and help you improve. The progress comes from the relationship you build with your dog.
